Finally momentum is starting to shift slowly from setup and configuration to planning for an actual animation project. Computers are still being configured but really the only things left are getting the data backup scheme in place and final configuration of the renderfarm. The sound recording booth is almost finished now. I will post pictures after I have all of the studio foam installed.

Planning for the first short animation is under way ...

I am aiming for a 60 second animation with a handful of characters. All I will say about it now is that it is about an inventive young boy named Dooglamoo who lives on a farm and wants to get away and experience more of the world. The first episode will take place on his birthday when his adventures start. So far just some sketches and plot elements have been developed. I have also been doing some programming related to the Blender software that I use for animations.
